This years annual HISTORIX JAPAN meet took place this weekend at Suzuka Twin Circuit and as you can expect the attending cars were nothing but amazing. Heres a bunch of photos and videos from the event.
Derryls Trueno is one of our most favourite street cars from the US. We featured it exactly one year ago to show our local readers how a street spec Corolla should be done and why keeping it simple is sometimes the best thing to do. Since everyone loved it we thought it might be a good thing to feature it again and this time use a bit more comprehensible language.
We put this post together as sort of a celebration of our second birthday back in 2010. We wasted a few hours of our lives with the amazing Google Street view app and we tried to sniff out a few japanese workshops that might have some 86s parked outside. Heres the result.
Time can pass pretty fast sometimes. It seems like last years HachiRock Festival took place yesterday and guess what, this years edition already happened this weekend. Thanks to minkara user Sir-shin who shared his photos right after the event!
One of our friends scored a new issue of the famous japanese Levin & Trueno magazine back in early 2011 and when we first opened it we nearly had a heart attack. This is the reason why.
Back in June 2009 we did a short interview with guys from motorFIX. We didnt really had any international readers back then so we didnt bother to translate it into English but since there are more foreigners watching this blog these days then Czechs we thought it might be a good time to revive this piece. So here it is, after almost three years of running our little blog from a place most people never heard of in a language that noone understands we finally decided to switch to English. We obviously have some serious issues with past perfect tense and our grammar will look funny here and there but we guess nobody really cares these days. Right?
We will spend the next few weeks with translating our most favourite posts from the past and then its back to normal. We are also going to translate our Tech section over time.

If theres something that can really change the AE86s looks then it has to be the wheels. The Corolla is more then 25 years old but that doesnt mean you cant get any new wheels for her and no matter if you prefer old classics like the SSR Mk IIIs or something a bit modern like the Rays TE37, this guide should give you an idea what wheels can you get for your 86.
